Gifted and Talented Maths Day
On Monday 22nd February four children, Ella, Daniel, Owen & Neve, attended a Federation Gifted and Talented Maths day at Bridgerule Primary School. Throughout the day they learnt about Tangrams (a dissection puzzle consisting of seven flat shapes), measuring the perimeter and area of these shapes. The different shapes were then made into a square and a rectangle which took a long time. The children also measured perimeters and areas of other shapes.
